Shooting & Stalking
The rugged landscape offers a range of outdoor country sports, including stalking:
- red deer stags between 1st July and 20th October
- red deer hinds between 21st October and 15th February
- roe buck between 1st April and 20th October
- doe between 21st October and 31st March
shooting:
- partridges between 1st September and 31st January
- pheasants between 1st October and 1st February
- wild fowl 1st September to 31st January (inland)
